The Link G4X S13Link NS13X, part 216-4000, is a plug-in ECU board for selected Nissan CA18DET and SR20DET applications with the blue 76-pin ECU connector. It installs in the factory ECU enclosure and connects to the original loom.

Fitment: check engine and connector

  • Nissan Silvia S13 and 180SX with CA18DET; Link's application guide lists 1988–1990.
  • Pre-facelift Nissan Silvia S14 with SR20DET; Link's application guide lists 1993–1996.
  • Match the actual connector and wiring pinout before ordering. A blue 64-pin connector requires a different ECU; chassis name or year alone is insufficient.
  • Designed for manual-transmission vehicles. Have a Link reseller review an automatic application before purchase.

Included and parts to plan

Link lists the NS13X ECU board with onboard MAP sensor, USB tuning cable, anti-static strap, stickers, plug-in manual card and product registration card.

Reuse the factory ECU case. Supply a manifold-pressure hose for the onboard MAP sensor. Its 4-bar or 7-bar absolute-pressure rating depends on board version; verify before calibration. An IAT sensor is strongly recommended; some CA18 cars have a factory sensor. Added sensors and the separately sold expansion cable are application-dependent.

Installer checks and tuning

Set the board jumper for CA18/S13 or SR20/S14. Low-impedance injectors require ballast resistors. Configure and tune with the correct Windows PCLink version, including MAP, TPS, IAT and trigger checks. The startup map is only a starting point. The manual flags possible factory 360-optical trigger issues at high RPM or with changed camshafts/valve springs; discuss your setup with the tuner.

E-throttle requires modification and additional installation planning. Consult the NS13X installation manual and current Link software and manuals.
