The Link G4X JZX90Link JZX90X, part 235-4000, is a plug-in ECU for Toyota Chaser, Mark II and Cresta X90 models and Soarer JZZ30 models with the 1JZ-GTE non-VVT-i engine.

Confirm your application

Check the actual ECU connector against Link's product photographs and have the installer verify the loom. Link designs this model for manual-transmission vehicles; automatic applications require a separate compatibility discussion with a Link reseller before purchase.

Included and optional connections

Link lists the ECU with onboard MAP sensor, USB tuning cable, anti-static strap, stickers, plug-in manual card and registration card. It uses the factory ECU enclosure and loom; enclosure clearance or cable-exit modifications may be required.

  • The powered 4-pin CAN port uses the CANJST4 cable, part 101-0198. The older CANPCB cable cannot be used for this CAN connection. CANJST4 is not listed among the ECU's box contents.
  • E-throttle requires the dedicated expansion connection and an installation plan. Expansion cables are purchased separately.
  • Sequential injection requires additional injector wiring via the expansion connector; it is not a factory-loom-only change.

Installer checks and tuning

Have the tuner confirm the MAP-source jumper, sensor calibration and factory IAT installation, or plan replacement sensors as needed. Arrange vehicle-specific setup and tuning with the correct Windows PCLink software. The supplied sample map is only a starting point. Read Link's current installation manual and software.
