U.S.-stock and overseas-sourced items have different lead times. If this item must ship from Japan or another country, supplier processing, international transit and customs clearance can extend delivery. Confirm fitment, availability and delivery

The Link G4X EVO8X (manufacturer SKU 203-4000) is a plug-in ECU for supported Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IV–VIII 4G63 applications. It uses the original ECU wiring connectors; confirm the factory connector layout before ordering.

Fitment and connector check

  • CN9A Evo 4; CP9A Evo 5, 6 and 6.5 TME; CT9A Evo 7.
  • CT9A Evo 8 with a 4-plug factory ECU only.
  • Manual-transmission applications only.

An Evo 8 with a 3-plug ECU requires the EVO9X, SKU 204-4000. Model name alone is not enough to choose the ECU.

Included and required

Link lists the G4X EVO8X ECU, USB tuning cable, anti-static strap, EVO4–8 end plate, stickers and manual/registration cards. An onboard MAP sensor is included.

Electronic throttle use requires an expansion connector and appropriate installation wiring. Confirm the installation requirements and calibration with your tuner; do not assume an e-throttle conversion is included.
