Pastrana, Greaves, Anderson, Roczen: Glen Helen’s Finale Entry List Is Stacked
The Glen Helen entry list is finally the kind of list you stop scrolling and read twice.
Championship Off-Road posted the current CFMOTO Off-Road National entry list today ahead of the October 2-3 finale in San Bernardino, and the top classes have names from all over short course, action sports and California off-road racing stacked into the same weekend.
The list is still subject to change. That is the organizer’s wording, and it matters.
But the field that is posted right now is already worth talking about.
PRO4 has Travis Pastrana on the sheet
Pastrana is listed as No. 199 in PRO4.
That puts him into the same class list as CJ Greaves, Adrian Cenni, Ryan Beat, Johnny Greaves, RJ Anderson, Mickey Thomas and Jimmy Henderson.
That is not a demonstration lineup.
That is the premier four-wheel-drive truck class at a championship finale.
CJ and Johnny Greaves bring the family name into the same class again
CJ is listed in the No. 33 PRO4 and Johnny in the No. 22.
The Greaves name is basically part of the furniture in professional short-course racing at this point, but that does not make seeing both names on a national finale entry list any less serious.
CJ is also listed in the AMSOIL Pro SxS field, so his weekend is not exactly going to be quiet.
RJ Anderson makes this a very California-relevant PRO4 field
RJ is listed from Menifee, California in the No. 37.
That puts a Southern California driver with a lot of off-road development and competition experience into a national class racing at Glen Helen, basically in the backyard of the market Race Club serves.
For local racers, this is not some abstract Midwest short-course tour coming west for a novelty weekend.
The entry list has California all through it.
PRO2 has Ken Roczen and a pile of California names
Ken Roczen is listed as No. 94 in PRO2.
Ronnie Anderson is there in the No. 52 from Riverside. Cole Mamer is listed from Holtville. Ricky Gutierrez from Garden Grove. Myan Spaccarelli from Simi Valley. Mikey Lawrence from Banning.
That is exactly the kind of crossover and regional depth that makes a finale interesting even before points are added to the conversation.
Pro Buggy is full of Southern California too
Carson Smith is listed from Orange. Zachary Drapkin from Lake Forest. Lorenzo Bonacci from Riverside. Chaden Minder from Murrieta. Ezra Ebberts from Lomita.
There are Wisconsin, Minnesota, Arizona and Nevada drivers mixed in as well.
That is what a national field is supposed to look like.
The SxS fields are not filler
CJ Greaves, Ronnie Anderson and Augie Renezeder are all on the AMSOIL Pro SxS list along with a broad national field.
Pro Stock SxS has another full list including Jesse Greaves and California’s George Llamosas from Riverside.
The important thing is that these classes are part of the same championship weekend structure, not an afterthought between truck sessions.
Friday starts the live coverage at 3:00 PM Pacific
Championship Off-Road’s current watch guide lists the Friday stream starting at 3:00 PM Pacific and Saturday at 2:30 PM Pacific on FloRacing.
The series says all 15 rounds have streamed live there, with later Fox Sports coverage for the major Pro classes.
So there is really no excuse to say short course is hard to follow from California this weekend.
The entry list also tells crews what kind of weekend this is
A stacked field means there is no easy heat.
Track position matters. Starts matter. Spotter communication matters. Repairs matter.
If a truck loses time with a preventable issue, there are too many capable drivers on this list to assume the positions will come back later.
That is why the boring prep matters tonight: hubs, CVs, steering, wheel hardware, cooling, radio, spare parts and the crew plan.
One caution: the organizer says the list can still change
That line belongs in the story because it is part of the official entry page.
Do not treat every posted name as an ironclad start guarantee until the field actually reaches competition.
But as of the current published list, Glen Helen has the ingredients for exactly the kind of finale Southern California off-road fans have been asking for.
Big names. Local names. National championships.
And a track that does not care what your résumé says once the green drops.
